The Department of Italian, Spanish, Portuguese & Latin American Studies (ISPLAS) brings together the former Departments of Italian Studies and Spanish & Portuguese into a single, interdisciplinary unit.
We offer expanded academic programs that explore the languages, cultures and history of Italy, Spain, Portugal, Latin America and their diasporas, as well as their connections. With enhanced course offerings and research opportunities, we support a diverse and collaborative environment for both undergraduate and graduate students.
